Eli's the Place for Steak - celebrating 39 wonderful years as Chicago's classic steakhouse and #1 place for cheesecake.

After a 39 year run at 215 E. Chicago Avenue, Eli's the Place for Steak is now closed. Our home is being demolished as our landlord,Northwestern Memorial Hospital, moves forward with a project to build the new Women's Hospital. We are looking for a new location in the Greater North Michigan Avenue area. We'll keep you posted.

Until then, our Cafe on the northwest side is open! You can shop the largest selection of Eli's Cheesecakes anywhere, enjoy a freshly prepared lunch, take a guided tour of our award-wining bakery, and even have a birthday party complete with cheesecake decorating.
